Stand Up and Be Counted!

Welcome back to Yakkers Corners. In this podcast, guest host (on left) Amil Husain talks with guest Mr. Fazel Abed of BRAC (Bangladesh Rural Advancement Committee). Mr. Abed was our premiere guest but this time the talk centers on the Stand Up project (www.StandAgainstPoverty.org). If you have ever wanted to do something to fight against poverty, if you have ever desired to Stand Up and be counted, you will want to listen as these two gentlemen explain what the Stand Up project is all about- a visual and vivid way to remind the governments of the world of their declaration to “eradicate extreme poverty and hunger” (Millennium Development Goal #1).
